"I usually have a great experience at La Grotta but this time was a bit different. Although my fiancé food (tenderloin) was very tasty, unfortunately my food was not. I got the mushroom risotto which I’ve gotten many times before but this time it very bland which was especially disappointing considering I’ve waited weeks for this reservation. Our server also seemed disengaged and was not up to the usual standards. We may need to take a break from the restaurant and hope that the time that passes will wash away the memory of this most recent experience."

"The service here is AMAZING! The sweet tea is slightly different, but very tasty. The salmon and cream cheese with eggs is just dying. I love eating the southwest combination is simply absolutely delicious. The warm tortilla is the perfect vessel for black beans, eggs and pico de gallo, Cheddar cheese and sour cream. My mouth drips before I even get into the door. Prices are not cheap, but they are very affordable. I also tried the waffles here, they're thick, but fluffy. I love adding powder sugar, you hardly need a syrup with these waffles. I'd suggest the chicken and waffles. Thumbs up makes definitely a great favorite game on the traditional southern fare. If you're looking for a wonderful treat, I'd suggest the salmon and cream cheese eggs. It is delicate, smooth and just down really delicious. The food here is served with lots of love and lots of butter. Everything I've eaten from here is surprisingly great!"
