"I know this is a RI institution but.... First the service was great, I can tell the great waitress won't be there long. My husband ordered a burger which he said was fine. We ended up at Chelos because the 133 Club (best burgers) was packed. My Philly Steak Sandwich had done load of seasoning which was salty and bitter. Plus, way too much American cheese, which added to the salt. I wouldn't order it again, the manager told me next time order it without the seasoning. How was I supposed to know that it would be too salty. Great for a mediocre meal. I get that the owners are far right in their beliefs, but please switch from FOX to something in the middle or sports. If you want to attract a younger diner you need to do this. The customers all look middle age or older."

"Very good Burrito, had the pulled pig. I became for the first time on Cinco de mayo and they also had free churo with any order that was very good. Definitely felt like the staff worked there, which is always good to know that you support a business that treats staff well, hopefully my observation is correct. Will definitely go back."

"Khan Thai serves excellent food at a good price and offers a lot for those looking for plant-based foods. First, the Providence area has a deserved reputation for excellent food INCLUDING an enormous amount of creative, delicious vegan food. But if you are from downtown and on the east side the options are more limited. KhaoSan is conveniently located in East Providence directly at Warren Ave. Additional parking with beautiful interior. We were taken out and, as another reviewer said, they do not identify the vegan options online. But they have 10 direct vegan offers and a whole bundle that are vegan option (usually choose tofu as a protein . We had Fried Tofu (excellent! Spring Rolls, Pad Thai J, and Pad Kee Mao (Drunken Noodles). Other fully vegan options are: Scallion Pancakes, Fried Chive Dumplings, Vegetable Tempura for Apps. Other popular vegan option apps are the Fresh Rolls and Fried Vegetable Dumplings. ALL fried rice dishes are also vegan option. Before you ask them on the phone ALL Curry dishes are made with fish sauce, so there is no way to make them vegan. In all, KhaoSan is a solid choice, especially if you are outside Providence on the east side of the city."

"Me and my wife decided to try this restaurant out for our anniversary. The food was very good. The waitress was nice but we didn 't care for her to ask us if everything was All good in the hood! regarding if we liked our food. A little unprofessional there. There was a large party that was sat after us and they received their food before we did. We ordered simple menu items such as cavatelli and meatballs and a chicken sandwich and it took almost an hour for the food to come out. I understand the large party makes you more money but also consider other people 's time who were seated before. Again, this review sounds worse than our actual experience but these things need to be addressed. The food again, was very good and the restaurant was very clean. We will return, it 's just this experience could definitely be improved upon."

"Delicious homemade Corned beef hash, thick, crispy, soft French toast is fantastic. The staff is friendly and personal. I have visited the Providence several times and cannot recommend another diner as much as this."

"Food is usually great. Calamari is great. The chicken doesnt come out crispy at all for me so if you like crispier fried chicken then ask for it. Fried fish sandwich was not edible to me. There was more batter than fish. Inside is very comfortable and a nice setting in general. Beer comes out cold and they have a wide variety of local beers in both draft and cans. Parking is pretty scarce on a Thursdays and weekends. Staff is always wonderful, service is always top notch and everyone is friendly."
