"Fine eating on another level. I tried the color for the first time last Tuesday and was blown away from the environment (I remember when it was the blacksmiths pub. the change us remarkable, the whole place drips quality, the personal is fabulous and the eating is simply super, on another level to everything I had before, absolutely top class. if you weren't there, go! (maybe they have to book, although the word has died about this fantastic place."

"Traveling in the area and we had been told to check this place out... Best travel advice we've had! Warm, welcoming and friendly, you just feel relaxed and at home as soon as you step foot in the place... Then they bring out the food. And you see the prices, and you experience the service and atmosphere. And you book in again as soon as you possibly can. We ate the week before at the Hilton in Harrogate... It cost about 10 times the price and was about half as good. Hats off guys... Your place rocks and your food is just delicious. See you Sunday!"

"My husband and I come to this area every year staying in our touring caravan. We don't like to drive too far and Blue Post fits the bill nicely. It's an independent proper village pub that is never over busy but the food is fabulous. It changed hands a couple of years ago and we felt it went downhill. But the previous management is back and we are so pleased. We visited recently on a weekend away and the food was excellent. I had a seafood linguine that was a special, and to say it was groaning with seafood is an understatement. it looked and tasted spectacular. Thoroughly recommended. They also do a stonking meat pie (a chicken version too) and its delicious. Booking at weekend recommended. I have been quite scathing about this pub in the past (previous management) so I thought I better redress the balance and say how much we love it."
