I really enjoyed my visit to the Cooplands secret garden cafe. The atmosphere was welcoming and sweet. Cheap and cheerful! Food was top notch, could have mistaken it for Michelin star. I recently visited Pipe and Glass but I believe Cooplands is much better value and more enjoyable. The menu is in divvy language and there are no posh Waitrose snobs, just proper true Northeners. Went today ham omelette tiny rubbery omelette with 3 dried up bits of cooked ham plonked inside no care at all all microwaved Im sure. If it was £1 you'd think you'd been robbed but for almost £5!! steer clear, as for the salad, thrown from a great height !! lady on the till at the time was very friendly though . so that's a plus point View all feedback.
