Lovely setting for a traditional cafe, good proper coffee, lovely cakes and good prices. Staff friendly and helpful. Good to see a cafe continuing with covid protocols, expecting customers and staff to wear a mask. On a sunny day such a pleasant setting with outdoor tables where you can look at the mere. Boats, fishing and a putting green. Dogs, thankfully not allowed inside the food service area. read more.

today one of my favourite cafes. Menu drastically reduced in July. Just basic sandwiches. No pepper, just salt. Ordered warm puddings as advertised but kitchen seems stop about 2pm for hot food dipite advertising it as available, so not available. Serving staff are always lovely.
