Café was great for breakfast. The men has the biggest breakfasts there was and needed a mid morning snooze afterwards! The scones were a little dry but came with plenty of butter. They have a lot of events on so worth checking out. Farm shop was low on stock but there again with a storm babette here you wouldn’t want to be overstocked. Plenty of locally sourced produce. Was absolutely gutted.. ordered afternoon teas for two adults who were isolating to cheer them up.Wish I 'd made them a packed lunch myself when I saw what had been made,the afternoon tea consisted of a handful of finger sandwiches (suitable for children!)about 8 crisps,2 small scones with jam+butter and 2 pitiful cubes of cake all for £17.50..sorry but I 've had twice that amount for £20 elsewhere which also include...
