"Went for a celebratory meal but left feeling somewhat wanting more and taken advantage of . The meals were acceptable portion size compared to other Thais I have been to were small . Whilst the food was nice nothing blew me away or my friends. The restaurant was quite cold maybe due to heating costs ?? But the main end to the evening was the calypso coffee at £7.75 each ! This was very disappointing end to our night out . Whilst prices clearly shown we wanted an end a desert but nothing really stood out . Sorry about this review but left underwhelmed."

"This place is fabulous. The staff can't be more welcoming and friendly. Very happy to please. Such nice surroundings too. The food was so lovely. The old lamp room is the place to go!! "Just had the most dreadful take away from here. We were so looking forward to this as it’s always been excellent. Soggy,burnt batter. Fish was so dry. Chips okay,but the curry sauce was so watery.. Sorry, won’t be back. Ended up in the bin. Waste..."

"My wife and I went to Sunday dinner yesterday. I chose the bark and my wife had that huh, there were also pork and a lamb special. or you'd have mixed meat. both meats were very well cooked with large portion sizes. The...main courses came with a nice and extra crimson. really nice home made yorkshire pudding. we shared a Bakewell tar for the desert. all the food was fresh and we were very satisfied with our decisions. beautiful staff. really friendly. beautifully kept village pub. very clean and well furnished. we plan to return to the near future for an evening meal."

"We go regularly, eat well served on time. the experience would be sorted out by a personal, one of the older employees is in the round a liability they see, responding to other reviews apologized for them! Why don't they just keep them in the back? like a dark cloud that will affect how much they enjoy their meal. this place was in bride earlier, he is torn off by a coworker."

"I was going to leave a review on your Facebook page but for some reason I cannot work out how to do it. But honestly the carvery I had today was absolutely amazing and I used to work in a carvery for many years. The service was also spectacular, seated as soon as we arrived, drinks came very quickly, was told to wait for the restock of carvery which I find very good! (No one wants to only see a tiny bit of veggies in a dish on the deck) didn't wait too long either. Was definitely worth the wait! A massive choice of meats and vegetables which for me was out of this world. All meats were cooked to perfection, simply lent my fork on the meat and it fell apart all veg was very tasty too. Nothing seemed too much trouble at all. Plates were taken as soon as we had finished too. Always asked if everything was ok with our meals throughout. Even the carvery chef stopped to speak to us about the food at the bar as we were paying. I couldn't recommend this place enough and it's definitely not known to as many people as it should. I wouldn't have known about it if I hadn't spent 20 minutes looking for somewhere for Sunday lunch and I'm over the moon I've found this little gem hiding away in the fields we will be back without a doubt and I cannot wait to tell my family and friends about this place. The pub itself is very homely and cosy which I love the feel of. Everything all clean and tidy and all staff seemed very pleasant. Sometimes hard to find these days. Thank you so much for an amazing Sunday lunch haven arms!"

"Superb. I had heard so much I wondered if it would be that good. It was. The 9 course tasting menu was out of this world. The service was excellent, we were never rushed and just felt looked after with professionalism without fuss. A wonderful experience with that extra wow factor."
