we stopped here for lunch while we were looking for a house in the opposite. I just wanted a bowl of chips, but the menu looked good. the chips were ace, loved them! the pub itself was also very good. aesthetically pleasant a real old local pub, but with lots of space and an open log fire in one of the bars. We thought we’d try this place out but I doubt we’ll rush back. The food was poor/mediocre at best, the staff weren’t very friendly or welcoming and customer service definitely isn’t high on their priority list. There are far better places in the local area for sure. View all feedback.
