What a gem! Went on the day of the Grand National so busy, and buzzy! Shared a starter of scotch egg, and mini sausage. The SE was excellent and the sweet relish with it even better. Two of us had large Whitby scampi with fat chips and super tartar sauce, and one “the best burger I’ve ever eaten”! Drinks, and all in £85 for three,so great value (these days! as well. Went for a lovely walk in countryside and thought we would have some lunch had a small dog with us so sat outside. Ordered food and drinks then a man came out and said they didn’t allow dogs so we would have to leave. He made us feel very uncomfortable. There was no one else in the garden and dog was sat quietly under the table. View all feedback.
