The Swan Inn - East Riding of Yorkshire

We went for Sunday lunch and expressed our concerns to the male waiter about the tough roast beef, which was hard to cut with the provided knife. The Yorkshire pudding had a soggy bottom and was undercooked. The only enjoyable part of the dish was the red cabbage. The waiter mentioned he would speak to the chef, but nothing further happened. We were only charged for one meal as both plates were left half full. Unfortunately, we will not be returning.

I recently enjoyed a delicious lunch at the Swan Inn. The food was fantastic, both in terms of quality and portion size. I will definitely be returning in the future. The staff were friendly and accommodating, creating a warm and welcoming atmosphere. I could have easily lingered longer over a drink, just to relax and soak it all in.

We stopped by this restaurant on Christmas Eve. We eat out frequently and are usually disappointed by the quality or quantity of the food, or the service. However, our experience at this restaurant was exceptional. We ordered the turkey dinner and it was abundant and cooked just like the traditional meals I enjoy. The owner, chef, and staff were all friendly and provided perfect service. We will definitely be returning to this restaurant again and again.

We called today,I'm not one to complain generally and it may just be a Christmas menu thing...I've heard good things in the past about this place but the meal today was lacking.chucking a bit of turkey on a cheese and bacon burger doesn't make it festive...especially when the bacon,burger and breadbun were cremated.I think they'd used the fire alarm as a timer

A lovely little pub with excellent food all home made. Extremely friendly staff landlady couldn’t do enough for us. A thoroughly enjoyable experience. Would highly recommend it to anyone and would definitely visit again if I was in the area.
