I visited after looking round the Minster. I had tea and cream scone. It was very good and nicely served. The first room as you enter is wood panelled, further in is a bright elegant conservatory, and outside a lovely garden area. The toilet was clean and attractively furnished. What amazeu doesn't like about The Tea Cosy:
Having been to visit the Minster we called at this nearby cafe for a coffee what a mistake. The service was awful the young staff didn’t seem to be interested and appeared to lack training. If one of the young girls spent as much effort on customer service as her makeup things could have been better! The coffee was awful 2 Americano’s were Luke warm and tasted awful.
