"One of the quieter places on the Delmar Loop. The employee who made my bowl was quick but not enthusiastic at all. The PokeDoke bowl was $18 and had an okay portion size. Besides the fish that tasted like it had recently been frozen, everything else tasted fresh. Another thing I noted was that they were out of edamame when I was there."

"First time coming in, and was greeted by a very nice lady. I told her it was my first time, and she gave me a whole tour of the lobby, explaining about the chef as well as the pastries and desserts.I ended up getting a Bacon Quiche which was insanely delicious. I also got the plain Croissant, and just from biting into the bread and looking at all the layers, you can tell this was carefully and thoughtfully put together. I’ll even say this was probably one of the best plain croissants I’ve ever had in my life!Will definitely be coming back to try more of the selections in the store, specifically the Guyana!"

"We love Indian food! My wife got the coconut chicken, which was good, but very mildly tasty. Probably it wouldn't order again just because we like a little more spice. I have the chicken corma that was excellent! Also ordered the garlic naan bread, which was really more than we could eat. We went on a Saturday at 5 pm and the service was good, waitress was nice, food came on time. Above average price for this type of kitchen. Both dishes were $12.99 and the Naan was $2.95."

"The vibe is casual and warm. Gretchen, our server, was fun, effortlessly attentive, and knowledgeable on the food and wine. We did the premium tasting with a wine flight. Though everything was outstanding, the tagliolini (with a splurge of black truffle) really stole the show. With dessert, I requested a coffee with nocello. The bar didn't have any but suggested a pistachio liqueur that was a solid replacement. That's the depth of knowledge and service you seldom find today."

"I ordered the rib tips wels nuggets, okra and koleslaw. talk about delicious flavors! nothing was bland. everything is done on order. when I tell you, I love this place. the atmosphere is very welcoming and reminds me to be in my grandparent house. the personal was charismatic and friendly. alice himself came out of the kitchen to speak me and to welcome me in the neighbourhood. only the sheer hospitable keeps my business. did I mention the complete bar and music videos that are played in the flat screens? this is not a brain. Look at the house!"
