"What a Plymouth Gem! Rye Tavern is tucked away in the picturesque woods of Plymouth MA. My friends and I traveled from Boston to Plymouth to celebrate (safely... we all tested negative for COVID) bachelorette weekend. We had our final dinner at Rye Tavern and were in love with the setting, staff, and food. The restaurant spills out of a 18th century farm house onto a beautiful patio. The farm to table style meal was absolutely delectable and beautifully prepared. The space was clean and COVID conscious with lots of space in between tables, disposable menus, and sanitized tables in between guests. The staff stayed 6 feet apart and wore their masks appropriately the entire time. When we approached after dinner desserts, I was sorely disappointed to have a dairy allergy. The menu had the most tasty assortment of cakes, ice-cream, and seasonal goodies I’ve ever seen. When I asked the waitress if any of it was dairy free, she rushed back to ask the pastry chef. Unfortunately, none of it was free of lactose. BUT the pastry chef created a customized a dairy free dream of caramelized apples, pecans, and marshmallows with fresh pomegranate seeds drizzled with honey. It was one of the tastiest desserts I’ve ever had. I would absolutely come back to this establishment and would recommend anyone else to go."

"We try a lot of ice cream and Cape Cod Creamery is a favorite on top of our list! The ice cream itself is creamy and flavorful and the flavor names referencing towns of the cape are a great touch. We love sitting on the porch or on the lawn in the Adirondack chairs enjoying the summer breeze and savoring vacation!"

"We went with my family who is a mix of flavors. I had called beforehand to see if they can accommodate a vegan dish with my daughter and they said absolutely. They made her a fantastic veggie pasta primavera and the server knew exactly how to write up the order. Even when she brought the rolls she informed her that the bread had milk in it which most restaurants have servers that are not as well versed. Would recommend if going with a group of people who have different food choices."

"Omg. I never in my whole life have been 100% satisfied with my experience food as I have here. The food was beyond 5 stars, huge portions. I got the prime rib, baked haddock combo soooo delicious . Comes with 2 sides. Our waitress was great! Everything came out in a timely fashion. And if I could give it 10 stars I would. I’ll be back. It’s so hard to please my boyfriend and I with food. We love seafood and love trying new places. This has been my favorite so far in the 28 years I’ve been on this earth"

"That is not a family-friendly restaurant. it has a limited menu and although it is listed under seafood, it was definitiw italian. there are seating outside, but they are eaten alive by bugs, we should have recognized this when they offered us off. there is no child menu that force the children to order the regular menu that limits them to spaghetti, unless they are more adventurous. they seem to let them know that it is not really important for them to have children there. they are open only on Thursday until Sunday. we went on a Thursday night at 5:30 and there was an hour waiting inside and not waiting outside."
