Fabulous Italian restaurant. Great food and very friendly, polite staff. We had beef stroganoff and spinach and ricotta cannelloni, both were superb. Desserts were equally as good. Can recommend the tiramisu and the salted caramel and chocolate cheesecake. We walked from Tatenhill through the water park then along the canal. Then back via Battlestead to Tatenhill. Visited for Mother’s Day. Heard really good things about how it used to be-authentic Italian, the food today was not that. Deep fried mozzarella was just frozen mozzarella sticks with tomato sauce, pizza was dripping with grease and it was a veggie option with no meat! Desert, the cheesecake was either off or not set as was really runny, the chocolate ice cream was absolutely disgusting and tasted like crunchy dust!... read more.
