"We were in Eastbourne for an overnight stay and wanted to eat somewhere with an informal atmosphere but excellent food and Skylark fitted the bill nicely. The mackerel pate starter was particularly delicious and the scallops were also very tasty. We enjoyed our main courses (Dover sole and vegan Wellington but sadly the rhubarb dessert we wanted had run out. When we got our bill the cost of the tea and coffee we had in lieu of dessert had been deducted, which was a nice gesture."

"We've wanted to visit here for a while but we always have our dog with us which makes it tricky. We visited for lunch and all four of us had a delicious meal, by far the best we've had in Eastbourne. Fresh and tasty authentic Italian cooking and wonderful friendly staff. We can't wait to visit again. Thank you!"

"I walked in off the street and was welcomed. A table was found quickly. The restaurant was pretty full and choice of food and drink excellent. I chose a superb chicken salad, one of the best I have ever had. An Italian beer was also fabulous. Service by all staff was excellent."
