"As someone who has lived on the East side of Southampton, I feel a little embarrassed I’ve not visited before. I had a recommendation from a friend and I was not disappointed. I had viewed the menu before my visit and first item I saw...was liver and bacon. Didn’t look any further. Food all home cooked. It was excellent. I like an Ale and on arrival was unsure which to pick. I was offered a tasting session and decided on the first ale served up. Then sat down and viewed the menu in its entirety. So much to choose from. I’ll say again, the food was excellent and the ale too. Would I visit again? Already planning my next visit."

If someone orders a porotta he has to order each curry for each set of porotta even though they don't want 2set of curry, which is the rule by the staff who is in the billing department, We ordered one curry and he forced us to order one more curry and the curry was extra for us. When the time of billing we asked the reason He said that he has many expenses is so we have to order like it. "Had to complain that the coffee was cold, the server and his lackey thought it would be good customer service to laugh at me. Perhaps with future customers show some empathy, apologize and ask if you their is anything you can do to resolve the...problem. Not laugh. The server then went and stood outside for a smoke. Doesn't look very professional but thats just my opinion."

"I never leave reviews, but after my experience it was a must. I have had quite a lot of breakfasts in my time and I tell you what, this unlocked a precious memory. Its like the movie of ratatouille and the old guy who tests/reviews restaurants, as soon as he took that bite he was reminded of his childhood memory and the food was spectacular. The breakfast was incredible and the best I've had, it actually reminded me of a breakfast my parents used to make me as a child. The way it was cooked was spot on and I loved the fact they had a vegetarian option too. The staff was lovely and I was impressed of how kind and helpful they are. I will definitely be returning."
