We had just paddle boarding up the Hamble and needed a placeto stop, have a drink and a spot of lunch. This place seemed perfect as it’s right next to the river so we planned to stop here. A rather disappointing experience. Having visited several times in recent years we expected more The food was only average. I, for instance had a steak and ale pie which was mostly pie with limited content. Wine was of poor quality but service was friendly and attentive.
