This is a meeting place. This is as close to home cooking as you can get. Commercial dishes are usually a bit heavy on salt and spices. You won't get that from the nice couple. The Chicken Tikka Masala was creamy and spicy. When I asked about the spice level, I just answered very much. The cook understood that I spiced South India. "The sushi is never a problem, really yummy! The appetizers on the other hand were not too great. We ordered some for delivery, the chicken nuggets and springrolls. Both are super tiny portions for that price. Then, I am not sure if they absorbed the taste from the takeout container or if it is how they make it, but both tasted like cardboard, almost like dishwasher soap.
