"We three generations of family enjoyed a celebratory dinner there last weekend. Everyone was extremely kind, efficient, and hospitable. The food was excellent! This is high praise from our group of foodies. The owner went out of his way to take care of my elderly parents and my little niece. "We eat here often enough that we are on a first name basis with the owner and enough to have a “usual”. Everyone is always super friendly and the food is ALWAYS delicious! Hands down this is our favorite place!While they always go above and beyond, tonight they were more than exceptional. I had surgery on my throat a week and half ago, my usual roll has crunch and I was afraid it was going to hurt so I asked them to make it without the crunch and explained about my surgery. Instead of just leaving the crunch out and making a smaller roll with less in it, chef customized my roll so it was still the same portion but everything was soft! I was able to eat everything and I’m super grateful especially since I’ve been eating applesauce and baby food for a week and a half!Thank you again for being so awesome and caring for your customers as much as you do!!!"

"I love Hunters Tavern, have been there before and was very satisfied with our meal and server. This time , while our food was still wonderful, our waiter was difficult to contact and only stopped by to take food drink orders and for the check. Overall, I would recommend but I was not as pleased as I expected to be due to the service."

"The vegan turkey really sucked my head. It really freaked me out because it seemed as similar to normal turkey (or at least as I remember turkey). My sub was really delicious, and the staff was friendly. But yes, vegan cheese and Mayo would also be great. Overall though I really liked this place, although it is better for vegetarians than vegans."
