I don't see the "legend" The burgers had was blandAs was the fries, limp and tastelessI suspect they are going for a nostalgia 50s thing.
The former Legends has burned down and now there is only a drive-thru (they are currently rebuilding the former Legends). I'm not kidding when I think
Reliable and fresh food, never disappointed, the fries are a little blah but the grilled chicken salad is amazing and the coneys are always fresh.

"Great location and atmosphere however, no one in our group enjoyed their drinks and while we were trying to finish the staff started piling chairs on the tables around us to get a quick start at closing (even though it was only midnight). I'm sure there are better places to go."

"Some of the best food that I've ever had. I am so glad that talented chefs are opening places like this in the Detroit area now, and I don't have to just wistfully watch the Food Network. The Nova Scotia chowder was rich and buttery, and chock full of seafood. Every dish was shared and enjoyed by the table. I have a soft spot for butter tarts, so when I saw one on the dessert menu, I had to try it, and it most certainly didn't disappoint."

"Came into this place early evening on a Saturday and things were fairly quiet. I ordered a chicken platter with fries, and my girlfriend ordered a falafel wrap. She also ended up asking about their sauces, all of which are homemade, and available for order! They had some pretty interesting sauce flavors, from the standard sweet spicy (MUST try , to some more fruity flavors like spicy mango, spicy raspberry, to some VERY interesting flavors like an avocado sauce. The owners were AMAZING they let us sample each sauce while telling us about exactly what went into each sauce (the avocado doesn’t have any sugar! . They gave us a complimentary little plastic container of the avocado sauce by far our favorite. The avocado sauce wasn’t watered down AT ALL, very thick and full of avocado flavor. Don’t expect anything like guacamole, it’s still definitely a sauce. Back to the main food falafel was freshly prepared and fried (we had to wait a bit, which of course is expected , and the chicken shawarma was amazing. Generous portions of garlic sauce and hummus. The side salad was nicely dressed as well, wasn’t an afterthought or anything. The avocado sauce definitely gives me California vibes and I enjoyed it with the fries (although some may give me side eye for saying that . The owners are a very friendly couple, and the restaurant gave off friendly, neighborhood vibes. They recognize regulars by the voice when they order, joke around with their customers, and even talked about and offered us samples for their rice, which they suggested for me the next time I come by, which can’t be soon enough."

"Great hidden gem on 9 Mile! The food was delicious, the presentation was the best I've ever seen for sushi, and everyone inside was so friendly. My only regret was that I got too excited about the food and ate some before I could take a picture of the plate untouched! Will definitely be returning!"
