What Wayne A Pollock likes about Where 2 Buns Meat:
The burger was great, maybe the best in Darwin, the loaded fries were good too, but their milk shakes are overpriced, undersized and seriously lacking in ice cream. It was the equivalent of a $7 Big M, and it was served in a coffee cup. I definitely recommend the burgers, but save your money on the milk shakes. View all feedback.

What User doesn't like about Where 2 Buns Meat:
our burgers had no taste and tasted terrible, it was too oily, I regret to spend so much money on our meal. cost us $95.99The milkshakes we had were good and enjoyed them, I recommend the chips, but not twirl rings, as they lubricated like oil. View all feedback.

"Smith Street Social is a beautiful venue with a lot of potential, but it seems like both the staff and kitchen don't cope under pressure. There was a function on upstairs so I maybe they put all their effort there to ensure the people upstairs had a great night. Unfortunately if they can't successfully run the core business at the same time as a function, they're better off just doing one or the other. We'd booked a table, but waited a long time to even speak to a staff member to find out where our table was. The staff seemed awkward, inexperienced, and reluctant to be there I didn't see any one of them smile at us or any other customer. Our meals took 50 minutes to come out and at no point during that time did anyone communicate with us that the wait would be so long. The barra was decent, but the burger arrived cold and very dry. Basically: I wouldn't recommend. There's too many great pubs and restaurants and even food trucks in Darwin to spend 50 minutes and $26 for a cold dry burger from unsmiling staff."
