"We had diner only once but it was a very nice experience (we just had one dish and some wine). Courtyard a nice place to enjoy in the summer. Opened quite late for German restaurant. Price quite high. Excellent shop also if you want to buy a few bottles of local wine. The hotel and restaurant has its own vineyards. Recommended."

"We eat at the Hinterhöfle several times a year and have never found the food less than excellent. The prices have risen with the volume of diners. I understand that. What annoys us is the extra charge for substitutions, e.g. get boiled potatoes instead of potato balls and pay an extra Euro. Both are available in the kitchen. There is no significant difference in preparation time, or ingredient cost or labor. That price add on does not make me poor, but it leaves me with a bad feeling about management."

"I would have to distribute 10 stars; for eating in the restaurant was worth 5 stars alone! I have never eaten such a good fish soup as here! and this huge plate of creamy fish soup with carp strips costs only 4.50 €. and then carp was baked with salate that tasted so good! Conclusion: the kitchen is excellent and the service staff is very attentive and flink! 5 stars were already due until here! but the hotel has also earned it. we had a very large and tastefully furnished room with sea view. also the bathroom was moderate and bright. and the pictures on the flur convey the impression as if they were walking through an art exhibition! very tasteful! I'll be back!"
