"Chez David is a wonderful creperie, excellent food, and friendly attentive service in a fantastic atmosphere. The decor is perfect vintage and the whole place is immaculate. I can 't recommend it highly enough. You need to reserve a table as the restaurant is not huge, but that adds to its charm."

"We were a family of 6 stops on the way between the ferry to the stairs and the loire on the search for a decent place to stop lunch. instead we have the best eating our entire French holiday. our two fussy teens licked their tellers. clean (drilled garnish and rice; aubergine croquettes). the older generation destroyed the Fois grass and the beef carpaccio with truffle oil. after that followed some wonderful desserts pavlowa and woodberries for the gluten-free and milk-free fragrance; chocolate tar with freshly roasted hazelnuts; lemon “Eclairs” with an extra tart lemon and white chocolate bowl. each dish was not only delicious, but was arranged on special plates in a wise to appeal visually. nothing was overwhelming in size or taste, but was delicate with very nuanced taste. the service was friendly, efficient and attentive. while the situation is not inspiring (on a circular traffic with what seems to be a hommage to general de Gaulle and a tank battle), the inner is modern and clean (also the toilets). there are two steps that we had to help an older party member, but there is a handrail and there is also wheelchair access. we traveled and eaten all over the world, including many Michelin star restaurants. If this were in Britain, we would have had to keep in mind and hunt and wear ties. Perhaps it is only that the French have naturally higher standards, but the cook takes clearly great pride in the joy of both the gastronomic and visual senses. our compliments!"

"Really good food with original feel. Little dishes and side dishes approaching the little food stands of the home country. Very friendly staff. Fried noodles was surprising new dish. Very good price-quality."
