Lab Café serves the best coffee in Edgecliff. There is no seating, but you can sit outside the ‘shop’ in a relatively empty part of the Edgecliff Centre, and drink from a takeaway cup. They serve Di Lorenzo coffee, and it's excellent. But be careful. I was once served a cup with an ill-fitting cap and a more than small amount of coffee spilt onto my nice white t-shirt. But overall, thoroughly recommended. read more.

"Great food. neat menu with fresh ingredients and simply well prepared. the steak was perfectly boiled and delicate, the sauce rich. the lamb had a large bed of beans with a tasteful sauce, well worked. also the burratta and the prawn tacos were great. not complaining in the menu. Maybe just a bit warmer in the inner and one or two decent scotches on the beverage menu. wein selection was big enough. everything in all there is something for everyone and made good for a very reasonable price."
