Greek Taverna - Edgewater

This has become one of my fiancées and I am new spots. We are quite new in the Weehawken/Port Imperial area and our first experience with Greek Taverna was in the form of a pickup order. We were totally blown away. The vegetables were so fresh, the food was incredibly tasteful, everything was nicely cooked and prepared, and the prices are very reasonable for the amount of food you receive. We picked up a few more orders, and tonight decided to dinate personally. Our experience was just as wonderful if not better. This place is the type of restaurant/small business that we all want to continue to support during this pandemic, not to mention the best Greek food I have ever had. Great, great place.

Excellent choice!! The first time is Greek food and dessert. Omg, so delicious and juicy!! Our waiter, Greg was so friendly and friendly. I am definitely back. 100% recommended!

My fiancée and I stayed in this beautiful Greek restaurant after our spa date in Sojo Spa. We've never eaten Greek food. Our server was Vasilli, he was also Greek, making this whole experience more exciting for us. He was very friendly, helpful and provided us with great service. He recommends us to try the Greek taverna chips that were crispy roasted zucchini and eggplant chips with Skordalia-Dip. Let me just say it was very addicted to eat that. My fiance loved the chicken souvlaki entree, the special sauce they use was delicious. I ordered the Pastitsio, which was Greek baked macaroni with ground beef. That was so good and very full. Overall our experience here was 10/10. Food, service and prices were great!

This has become one of my favorite places. Our favorites are the chicken plate and the gyro plate. Just delicious. Very fast delivery and the food is always nice and hot when it is delivered. Also very large plates. I personally can get some meals from them. My only wish is that they have sent more Pita bread and maybe when olives were in the plate. Besides, it won't be better.

Fabulous lunch and love love their coffee. The lunch menu is super worth it. Good quality quantity at affordable cost. Horiatiko Beef Burger was cooked to perfection!
