zelt to salisbury poor after arthurs seat it is very close, and a great place to take a break after the long walk. the sunday roast was amazing, the part quite large tho I just loved the apple and blackberry crumb with custard dessert. if I had to go back to edinburgh, I would visit salisbury arms only for dessert! I myself and a group of friends booked the salisbury arms on Sunday lunch last week. none of us had been before, so we were looking forward to something new. there are tables both inside and outside, but it was quite annoying weather so we have a big table inside. as Sunday it was busy, but not crowded. but it took a long time before we were served. when the time came to order, we decided on the buried black pudding... Recently went for dinner, food was great and staff were fab with the kids! Would definitely recommend!
