We had a very pleasant lunch in this traditional pub in Cramond. The setting and views are excellent and lunch can be followed by a walk along the River Almond or the beach to Granton. As we had a toddler with us we were shown to rhe family room at the back where there were ample high chairs, a playmat and a selection of toys, books and jigsaws. A very thoughtful touch. No atmosphere, terrible selection of drinks. No Irn Bru, Samuel Smith brand soft-drinks only and they aren't very nice. Ban on tablets etc, so if you have a medical device that needs a connection then you can't go in. Decor is brown and beige, feels more likely a granny's house than a place to meet people or hang out after a bracing walk in Cramond. Customer service was excellent, but this is not a nice place.
