Superb Meal with friends for a 50th birthday celebration and Fringe Show. From start to finish we couldn’t fault service and food was excellent. Great set menu for £35 for 3 courses and cocktail. The garlic loaf was delicious and an amuse busche of soup was beautiful. To top it off the festival fireworks came on which were amazing and they presented the birthday girl with a birthday cupcake. Don’t expect anything fancy. The food is like any other department store canteen, poorly cooked. The view is nice, and would be an idyllic spot for morning coffee but the open canteen with its lack of dividers and soft furnishings to soak up noise, lacks any capacity for relaxation.
