Contribute FeedbackThe reviews for the restaurant at Zizzi show a range of experiences. Some customers had issues with slow service, forgotten orders, and missing items from the menu. However, others found the staff to be welcoming and helpful, with a good selection of vegan options. The food received mixed reviews, with some enjoying their meals while others found them lacking in flavor. Overall, Zizzi seems to offer a comfortable Italian dining experience with a strong emphasis on catering to both vegans and non-vegans. Although not perfect, many customers expressed their intention to return to Zizzi in the future.
When I visited, they did not have any of the vegan menu items available so that I was left to customize a tomato pasta to make it vegan. It was pale and watery, not what I was hoping. Updated by previous rating on 2022-05-16
We're here after arriving in Edinburgh. Most places we tried needed reservations, so it wasn't our first choice, but the staff was so sweet and could see that we were exhausted so that they went out to feel welcome. I wouldn't say it has the most vegan options, but enough to satisfy a hungry group. We even have a cheesy garlic bread I haven't had for years! (We asked them to add a vegan cheese to the vegan garlic bread and they were just too happy to commit)
Appropriately expensive, many vegan options. Had the vg margarita and very enjoyed!
We loved the pizza! Absolutely delicious. Pasta was also very good! The staff is friendly and attentive. Beautiful location! (bus stop is located right in front of the restaurant) Separate menu for vegans and allergy sufferers. Only sad we were so full that we could not try the dessert
Very good vegan pizzas the zucca is a firm favourite. Pizza Express is catching up to them these days but still a very safe and enjoyable bet for a decent meal in Edinburgh :
