The food was excellent but a little pricey for the portions received. The service was a challenge because the server did not speak/understand English very well. When asked about corkage fees we were told $55... So we went with the house Shiraz (Copper Moon) and that was $55 for a bottle of wine that is retailed for about $7... Great Ethiopian meal and wonderful service. Our waitress was very pleasant and helped us choose what to order. I will definitely be coming back here.

"We had the worst meal ever here at McConkey's just now. I ordered a BLT, the bacon had an awful taste to it. My husband got a burger and I was tasteless. Our chips were burnt. Our kids ate very little as well. The waitress did not seem concerned that we didn't eat our food nor did anyone see what the problem was or try to fix it. Definitely won't be back and certainly won't recommend it to anyone. The photo added was when we were getting ready to leave. Full plates left behind."
