Ron's Hamburger & Chili - Edmond

First, I love the atmosphereIt has that total local owned diner feelIf you are looking for fancy, this isn't it.

What a great mealNormally my wife and myself make this a regular stop every monthI have taken a group of 15 a few times.

You can't go wrong with a beef patty smothered in chili, cheese and grilled onions served with fries that AREN'T greasy and limp!

One of the best chili cheeseburgers I have ever had. Great chili! Large amount of tasty tator tots. Will recommend and return. Very clean and the friendly staff meets your needs.

After eating at the Ron's in Midwest City, and finding out that there was a Ron's nearer to us, we just had to go!  Ron's Hamburger and Chili in West Edmond is tucked away in a shopping complex, and can be hard to miss.  The atmosphere is a lot different than the one in Midwest City in my opinion, and seemed to be more of a "hole in the wall" sports bar feel, especially in the downstairs part.  There wasn't a lot of people on a late afternoon, but that was okay.  We ordered the famous hamburger chili and their loaded fries to try them out, and we enjoyed it.  Food came out piping hot.  It lacked a little in the flavor department, and thought that chili over in Midwest City was much better.  The menu options are also more burgers, sandwiches, and etc. than chili based items, to the point that I felt it wasn't truly related to the one in Midwest City.  Still, overall, our experience was okay.  Not sure if we would come back again due to particular liking the better Midwest City chili, but it is not a bad place to get your craving satisfied for chili if you are in the Edmond area!
