This is a great place. I've been driving past it for years and decided to stop. The food and wine were great, the service excellent and it was everything an Italian restaurant should be View all feedback.
What J Goel doesn't like about Bucatini:
Service started out strong but tapered off a little. Busing staff was excellent. The chicken parm grinders were very popular with three in my party. Caesar salad was excellent, but the Bolognese sauce was odd. Huge chunks of pot-roast-like meat, whole cloves of garlic, unremoved bay leaf, had to add marinara to make less dry (appreciated suggestion from the server), which should not be necessary. This is a nice little Italian bistro in a suburb. The interior is done up nice even though it's sitting in a little strip mall. Really authentic Italian dishes, with some local seafood items. I think this is going to be our date night for a few weeks this summer. Good service.
Always great. Generous portions and excellent quality.
Great place, HUGE servings! We got the garlic bread to share which is phenomenal, and I had the lasagna which was delicious and about the size of my face! Can't wait to go again!
I was lucky to arrive when they weren't crowded. There was only one waitress but she seemed to keep up with everything. She was appropriately friendly. I ordered a pasta dish that was good. I got three meals out of it! It was easy to locate and had some free parking in front.
We've been spending part time in Edmonds and have had great dinners in the downtown restaurants. We drove just a short distance east to Bucatini and it was well worth the drive. We sat outside on a perfect night in a shaded area. The service was perfect as was the food. We started with the garlic bread, split a small Caesar salad, lasagna the ribeye/pasta (both easily enough for 2 meals) and cheesecake with raspberries were outstanding. Highly recommend
