Landover Carry-out - Edmonston

The kitchen is CLEAN. The food is good. Chef will pay attention when you ask for “no salt, no sugar” in your carryout. So, he/they cook to order— not the usual Chinese formula but closer to the REAL Chinese food of yesteryear. Otherwise, it caters to the lower tastes of the neighborhood. Counter women are very good, keep orders straight and business moving. This business is an asset to greater Cheverly and actually adds a little depth to its otherwise limited epicurean scene.

The food is always great and delivery is always on time. They've almost never gotten my order wrong! The BEST steak and cheese you can get in Landover.

Food has an odd aftertaste. Will not return. I never waste food, but I refuse to eat whatever is in this “Steak and Cheese Eggroll” ? Fries were salty and soggy but brown like they were well done ??‍ I’m glad I kept the order simple.

So far I’ve ordered most of my childhood favorites and they haven’t disappointed me yet. The food is good and so is the customer service.

I've been living in Kentland for over 20 years and this is our spot. My only issue is that when they are late with delivery, their customer service is poor. They don't apologize for the inconvenience, they don't compensate you. Recently I got rushed off the phone with no explanation as to why I placed an order over 1.5 hours ago and still no food. But... the food is great. Just be mindful on busy nights your food may get delivered late, plan accordingly.
