Ihop - Edmonton

The service at this restaurant was absolutely terrible. I understand that they have closing times, but they should make sure to inform customers before they order. We would not have stayed if we had known. We ordered a menu item of all-you-can-eat pancakes, but when we tried to order food to go for my husband, we were told the kitchen was closed and asked to leave. We ended up not eating anything. My daughter ordered tea and was served a container of boiling water with no tea. My youngest child couldn't even finish her drink. This is the second IHOP in Edmonton where we have had terrible service. We will never go there again. We spent over $50 on cold food and drinks that we didn't even finish.

I am really disappointed when I order online at this place of ihop. missing order is common, false items during ordering is also common for them (the difference between chocolate pancakes and chocolate chips pancakes should know), but served us with burned foods is totally dirty. can you imagine the disappointment when your children are tired from the wowrying, the lection to swim and the ones? I would like to help our neighborhood franchise, but after many incidents I will not order from here anymore.

Food was good and the service was prompt and courteous.But why the hell would you seat a group of loud (from the moment they walked in) people directly next to me (the only other person inside) when I clearly sat as far in the back as possible?Did the stack of papers and a pen and the corner seat in the back not make it obvious enough at 7 AM that I was trying for some peace?Also, if you're reading this and wondering what's his problem and you're the type of person to talk at a volume that could be heard across a busy highway, while in a restaurant... Reevaluate your manners.

The food is average. The service not so great. Its possible that the staff is overworked and that could lead to stress. I have had better food at other IHOP locations than this one for some reason. Could just be a coincidence with me.

My family had a great time at this IHOP. Raja is wonderful and our favorite server. He is very attentive and friendly, my son adores him and rates our experience a 10 out of 10.
