Excellent ! We loved the food and the drinks! Innovative and interesting menu and the dishes are as tasty as they sound. Four of us shared a sampler appetizer plate, Mantoo, A vegetarian plate, and Beef Kofta kabob with saffron rice. The portions were ample, but not huge, and had distinctive, well balanced flavors. What Weldon Heller doesn't like about Nineteen XIX:
we had reservations. we were on time and seated promtly. after 45 mins of sipping water our bottle of wine arrived and our order was taken. after another 45 mins we were given bread. then finally an hour after our order was taken we were...servered our mediocore meals. nothing outstanding about any of them except the very high price for what you got. $14 for a cup of soup served in an oversize bowl/plate so it cooled... Thought this would have been a great place to celebrate a birthday, food was mediocre, nothing special at all. With mediocre food one can see a balance if the service was exceptional, which was not the case, server seemed bored and uninterested. Overall 2 Stars if I’m being generous.
Service was excellent. Food was spectacular. We enjoyed ourselves enormously.
Such an amazing restaurant! The chefs took care of my moms vegan needs and went above and beyond! Better than some meals she’s had at vegan only restaurants. Always a fantastic meal no matter what you like. Worth it every time we go!!
I arrived a little grumpy but that didn't phaze the staff. Left happy and satisfied. Good eats and comfortable atmosphere. It's pricey but it was still worth it.
Overpriced food for low quality results... wouldnt recommend
