"I decided to wing it and give this place a try this week. The vibe was that of a typical micro pub. Standing room only at 7:00 pm. waited only about 15 minutes for a table though. The staff was pleasant and not pushy as I looked it over carefully. I started with the appetizer of shrimp. These were spot on! 6 big juicy ones that had some house made beer batter. The dipping sauces were very good but possible I could have done without it as the batter was so good. The shrimp was done just right golden brown with no heavy areas that were too dark. "Fresh Cuban cuisine in house style. a must visit!. talk about a hidden gem. this Cuban restaurant, which is run by its wonderfully friendly recreation center, is a must in roanoke. definitiw away, unless they travel williamson rd a lot, but the all-round worth. our family eats at least 2 or 3 times in the month. the vaca frita is amazing and it cooks fresh every day. no rest from the day before the mouth-water fantasy."

"I have now visited Mission BBQ in at least 3 cities. I have been several times to the Mission BBQ in Fayetteville. Another restaurant that you can expect great food and great service no matter what location you visit. They really got me with their support for our veterans. Love how they design the locations. Love the BBQ. Always a treat for the guys that work with me. We had lunch 2 days while working near by. After lunch my sub contractor purchased more BBQ to take home. I had a minute to meet one of the managers onsite. It is a apparent they love what they do. Plenty of people coming here to eat."

"Compared to the other little Caesars I have been to where the pizza are NOT Cooked. I never had a problem with them. I like the way they make theirs is cooked to me. A little dry in places but I still like it though. When I m on my Lunch break."
