Really the best duner in Eicbstätt! The red sauce is legendary and the staff is incredibly friendly:

Short and short, best dungeon in Eichstätt staff more than top, sauces self-made and super tasty, meat crispy and spicy, bread well grilled, salad etc.

"After years we made a trip to the Wettelsheim cellar in Treuchtlingen. It is known above all by the beautiful view, the savory beer and hearty bread times. We did not encounter a problem there in time, the cellar opened Thursday to Sunday from 10 a.m. The first impression was the smell of wood smoke and of boiler meat. The menu is on large wooden boards and offers hearty dishes of Franconian cuisine from top to skate. In the beer garden you are served, only the seat cushions you need to get yourself if necessary. The service was friendly and attentive, even if it took some time at the beginning, until the operators had shared the tables. We ordered three Franconian sausages with potato salad instead of cabbage (6 Euro plus 1 Euro for potato salad). The outsides, coffee and cake came immediately. I had to wait 45 minutes for the sausage. The sausages tasted excellent, the potato salad was on average in taste and unfortunately ice cold."
