What 31gilest likes about Langass Lodge:
This was touted as the best place to eat on the islands and thus far lived up to its billing. We paid c£150 for two, three courses, wine, pre drink and coffee. We have paid more hereabouts and had considerably worse. I started with the smoked platter (very good) and followed with the surf ‘n’ turf (excellent). We both had the chocolate fondant to follow. What Simon A doesn't like about Langass Lodge:
Firstly an excellent meal and the chef made an outstanding dish for my wife who has various intolerances. The reason there are only three stars here is that I am disabled and have an Assistance Dog. Dogs, despite the Lodge being dog friendly, are not allowed in the restaurant, only the bar and we were shown to the bar by the staff member who greeted us. We were expecting the restaurant.
