What Neil00 likes about Lochmaddy Lounge:
The lounge bar area is lacking in any character which is a shame but we ate here after a poor meal at Hamersay House Hotel where we were staying (see separate review) and really enjoyed it. The food was simple but decent quality, well cooked, hot and excellent value. We had a beer, a soft drink, 2 mains, a pudding and a malt whisky for under £50. What Emma Huels doesn't like about Lochmaddy Lounge:
Food comes fast and is ok but service is dreadful. I appreciate that there’s a staffing shortage but some of the young women working here need some basic training in hospitality especially the one with the brown pony tail and glasses: unfriendly, unhelpful, brusque at best and at points downright rude, Can’t recommend.
