This was a convenient place for lunch while staying at the Victoria over the road, but the food was a little disappointing. We had spinach ravioli with Gorgonzola, but the Gorgonzola was not very much in evidence. There was a lot of sauce, but it was not particularly tasty. A huge dining room, gloomy in atmosphere, but I am sure snug and cosy on winter evenings. When we visited there were another 10 diners (6 were from our touring group). The Weiner Schintzel was good, the weissbeer heavy, thick and wheaty. The service was pleasant and unobtrusive. Meals came in reasonable time.
