"Most amazing restaurant ever!! the waitress was amazing, Jacqui you rock! My boyfriend booked a table in a private area in the restaurant when we got there Jacqui had roses on the table (obviously she knew about the plans) and all the candles were lit in the room it was so cozy and romantic. Little did I know this special place where we had our first date was going to be the place he proposes to me!! The food was amazing and the staff are excellent! Thank you for making my evening so special."

"Friday lunchtime at Mugg Bean! Very busy, very noisy, but they get it right every time. I had a chicken and mushroom pot pie (not on the menu but you can request it) perfect for a cold day crispy crust, lovely! My companion had Eggs Benedict, perfectly garnished and prepared. And, despite how busy they were, excellent prompt and friendly service from Ernest. Thanks, guys!"

"Last night we decided to take our little one for her bday to go eat and play. As per her request John dorys. Boy are we dissapointed. Firstly the waiter got my husband's order for something to drink but never bothered about myself or our little one. Got husband order even wrong. Still not getting to what we want to drink. Few mins later back to ask our order. Little one and myself only got something to drink when our food came. Food on arrival had a very bad smell. Husband and I started looking for what was it, to find our daughters pizza was made with rotten cheese. They replaced it with a fresh one but in this process we still waited for part of our order. We received food on dirty plates on top of this. We got fed up and asked for the bill. 20 mins later still no bill we decided pack up and go to the front. Waited another 5 mins and then only finally paid. This was a good R900 wasted. Absolutely dissapointed in going here. Doubt we would go there again. We understand there was a bit of power issues here and there but the service the bad food and the dirt. That is unacceptable."
