*Update 5/6/2021 PERMANENTLY CLOSED The Tamale Guy Montclair RIP) I stopped by a few days ago to read the handwritten sign on the front door,my fears were realized. This location is permanently Closed : It says to visit their Claremont location Foothill Blvd). Sad,this was my go to spot for Tamales. Never had any bad experiences to report with their food or their service.
What Luz S doesn't like about Tamale Guy:
Service was good but the tamales I got were underwhelming. For starters, we ordered all corn tamales but our order got messed up and got chicken. Sadly we did not realize this mistake until we had already gotten home. The tamales we got were almost tasteless. We will give this place another chance but we will see how it goes...
