"This place is the real deal. I was in the area and was craving some good Mexican food, all the other spots looked a bit iffy, and this one prevailed among the others. I received good service along with delicious chips and salsa.. the salsa is a good way for me to determine the food. And I was not disappointed. Mexican Stamp of Approval!"

"Being a New Orleanian myself, I can say the food is close (not 100% and pretty good. The coffee is outstanding. The red beans and rice are very good and so was the shrimp n grits. Beignets I give an 8.5/10. Similar but quite tasty nonetheless. I strongly recommend this place. The atmosphere feels like home."
