"This is a regular Spanish bar which is particularly welcoming, and particularly well-located if you happen to be cycling up or down the Via Verde, and there is a bit of genuine innovation and creativity in the cuisine produced by the amiable chef and his partner."

"A very pleasant lunchtime meal after a morning swimming and sub bathing at the local hot springs. We had two Coeliacs in our party and despite a few awkward moments in the ordering and delivery of food, the restaurant generally catered well for our needs including the tell tale success of stocking gluten free bread and gluten free beer (yay! . A couple of grumbles when we arrived, despite having asked about gluten free food when booking a couple of days before, we were told that they might not have been able to rustle up gluten free pasta because this had not been ordered in advance. To us it seemed a logical conclusion that someone booking a table for eight including two Coeliacs might want to actually order something gluten free on arrival! The other grumble (having scored highly with the bread and beer! was the age old Spanish tell tale of bringing gluten free humus to the table... with a glutenous bread stick poking out of the centre (usually this happens with Russian salad or a wafer in gluten free ice cream! . Despite these minor hiccups, the food was excellent. Between the four adults and four children (ages 11 18 we enjoyed a range of tapas dishes with enough food and drink to see us well through to the evening. We sat inside the restaurant which was packed by the time we were sitting down we had originally been offered a table outside on the terrace but there was no sun protection and not a breath of wind, so we switched inside. The setting of the restaurant is idyllic, up on a low cliff. With a series of steps up to it, I'm not sure whether there is wheelchair access, though presumably arrangements can be made to help people with mobility. A really enjoyable meal and not horrendously expensive considering the beautiful tourist setting in the mountains."
