We stayed for the first time with friends at Jouini Restaurant for dinner. The restaurant is located in a tennis club. The terrace has long looked behind the best years. The tables and chairs on the terrace are ideal for a wardrobe garden. The open wines are cheap and taste so. The best are the fish dishes offered. The shrimps with pasta were expensive, but delicious. We also ordered twice fish, which was nicely grilled and served very well costed. The desire to submit this was rejected as the boss has no time for it (a wickedness). Finally, you can really recommend food, but both ambience, such as wines and service are best lower average.
Due to the good reviews we had reserved a table here Sunday noon, but were quite disappointed. The waiter seemed friendly, but was quite upset when we asked a few questions. Our over 80-year-old aunt asked for a smaller part that was rejected with the remark: is not so much. The sauce above the lamb fillet ran almost over the edge of the plate, the late zle would have been enough for a whole family and no longer adapted to the plate. We recommended a fish plate. What we have served were huge mountains of food that were not to cope with. The fish plate consisted of 4 large fish pieces, a huge mountain spaghetti, vegetables, salad and potatoes. The fish was delicious, the supplements could be completely superfluous up to 2 potatoes and the salad. When we then said that the parts were too big, it was only said: Yes, it happens more often with us. Why can't you take that in your heart? Too bad if mountain food needs to be disposed of! There was no espresso, no iceball, only ice packed, a pity when you eat Italian. It is not cozy on the terrace or in the restaurant, it is a sporty place. If you want to eat comfortably and well, choose a different place.
Only locals come to sports or to their birth or Drgl to this typical sports treat. Otherwise, only regular guests or those recommended by the local are displayed. The excellent cook dares out of his kitchen; not only to welcome his guests, but also to advise them clearly what is recommended in the evening, then they are kindly supervised and pampered by his wife. Whether fish or meat. Only the best quality comes à point on the table, which is also worth its price while the gymnasts enjoy pizza. Food is a pleasure when you think away from the sports restaurant: absolutely recommended
Unfortunately, it was not possible for us to get the food 5 people at the same time. The first meal came about 45 minutes before the last meal. I picked up my food because I didn't want anything. I didn't get anything to eat except the additional salad I was allowed to pay at 4.60 euros) I had to make myself stupid when I paid. That's why I definitely can't recommend this restaurant anymore. Too bad.
We stayed in January 2016 at Jouini Restaurant in Thalfingen. The restaurant is located in a sports restaurant. There are enough parking spaces available. The decor is simple, the menu according to my feeling too extensive. There are also not Italian dishes, such as mules or a Greek salad. There is one side with meat dishes, with fish dishes and with pizzas. We had decided first for the mixed appetizer plate. There was rust beef, grilled vegetables (paprika, mushrooms, zucchini), tomato mozzarella, honey melon ham, a slice of stuffed pancakes and a slice of onion cake. There were 3 slices of white bread. The appetizer was tasty, but according to my feeling, the onion cake tasted very much to taste enhancers. I would also have liked a buffalo mozzarella. To the main dish we had the swordfish offered outside the menu as a daily dish and the tuna with potatoes, vegetables and salad. The salad was marinated according to my taste with a refined finish dressig. The potatoes were very delicious with rosemary and garlic. The vegetables (Romanesco, Kohlrabi, cauliflower, zucchini, carrot) had a beautiful color and was still crunchy in the bite. The swordfish was also very tasty and juicy. In tuna a really big piece, the owner/cook asked me how I would like him. I ordered him medium, but he was too through according to my feeling, he only had a touch of a pink core. The service was nice, but unfortunately we were not asked if we would like to have a dessert or a press. In view of the prices starter plates 9,90 Euro, fish dishes in each case 18,90 Euro, m. E. fits the price/performance ratio.
