I'm a flight attendant and was in EWR on a layover. I was waiting for an Uber after going to pick up some Brazilian treats across the street from Snack Mania. I saw this little corner cafe and decided to pick up a dinner to take with me on the plane while waiting for my Uber. Omg the owner was soooooo sweet! We were very excited to see and try a new restaurant in the neighborhood . We went here around 5pm on a Saturday, the food appeared old and dried out , as if it had been sitting out all day . We still decided to give it a try do to the positive reviews and ordered Sancocho , steak and rice . The food had no flavor , the meat was hard and dry , the soup was thick and clumpy .
