Let me begin with the good: the food is very fresh. Now where it went wrong: the food is SMOTHERED in cilantro and lettuce. Now I actually like cilantro and it was too much. The guacamole was watery. The worst part was the chicken quesadilla. It was not a quesadilla. It was more like a huge taco. It was packed with more lettuce, giant tomato slices and cilantro than chicken or cheese. "I was surprised to see a bubble tea spot in this area. The store is very small so you do end up getting up close with people as they are trying to get through, but there are 2 doors, 1 on each side of the store so that's a plus. I got the passionfruit slush which is my go-to. I am glad that there aren't any seeds in it so I was able to enjoy it to the fullest."

"One of those places that actually lives up to the hype. The food is delicious and decadent. The service is professional and attentive, but easygoing. IMHO this is the best burger in NYC and the French dip might even be better. Prime rib was good, but a bit expensive for what you get. Sides are all A+, best fries ever."

"I checked out Covenhoven with some friends on a Friday afternoon/evening while visiting Brooklyn. This is a happening little spot with a wide selection of beers on tap and in a large refrigerator for purchase. So many options to choose from and I enjoyed looking through the fridge section for the wild and quirky beers I've never heard of before. It was fun sitting out on their outdoor courtyard. There's some basic pub fare food as well if you get hungry. I would definitely stop back in again."
