"This was My 1st time here but heard good things about the restaurant. The staff was very friendly and seated me quickly. Once I placed my order it was out in less than 5 minutes. I was shocked how quick it was done. The food tasted great and I'm very pleased with the experience"

"If you want truly good home cooked food at reasonable prices and enjoy mom and pop local restaurants this is the place to go in Elizabethton Tennessee. Portion sizes were more than adequate and service is friendly and very helpful. My only negative, and I know this is strictly a matter of taste, was that the breading on the catfish was a bit too salty. Having been in the food service industry for 11 years I am aware that this frequently happens when the cook who prepared the dish is a smoker. Smoking inhibits the taste buds and frequently results in over seasoning. All in all this small seasoning issue does not detract from the fact that the food served in this establishment is Top Notch for the cost. They have daily specials that should not be ignored. The new owners will be taking over shortly and perhaps will address this minor issue."

"Horrible. If I could give no star I would. The food was terrible. Server came over before we could really taste anything so I couldn’t say anything was wrong at that point. We didn’t see her again until she dropped off another iced tea for my husband and the check by that time it was too late and he had to get back to work. His chicken in his taco salad was not drained. He poked a hole in it and filled his plate with water. My food was a joke. I paid $8.49 for a folded over tortilla with cheese and two small bowls of runny refried beans. Then I was charged $1.49 for a small bowl of sour cream. I will not recommend this place the food is bland and watered down. The quantity and quality of food is not worth it. I also had to wait for 4 minutes to be acknowledged to be rung out. It was my server and she didn’t ask how things was. She took my card with no word. The staff isn’t friendly and the food is tasteless."
