It was my first time trying poke. I'm kind of happy I did. I had a pretty good first time experience at Hokee Poke. Service wise, the gentleman behind the counter walked me through the steps of how to order and was very patient. When we first arrived there were no other customers in the establishment, that quickly changed after 2 minutes there was a line to the door. The ambiance then seemed pretty relax. Good place. What User doesn't like about Hokee Poke Sushi:
It was okay, not the best Poke I had. It was picey for the amount I received honestly. The tuna was not even fresh and the staff was rudely so not welcome immediately. Don't come back. View all feedback.
It was kinda pricey, but food was fresh, decent service. Big plus is it's conveniently located in a big shopping plaza.
Loved my bowl of corn edamame with salmon and tuna. Nice and fresh tasting! Sorry, no pictures this time
The Fire Nachos at this restaurant are amazing! I order them almost every week. The bowls are also delicious and perfect for when I'm really hungry. They are very filling and my boyfriend and I have trouble finishing both the nachos and the bowl.
I went to the restaurant during happy hour and decided to try the fire poke nachos. The portion was large and probably meant for sharing. I appreciated that it came with a choice of fish. The chips were sturdy and didn't get soggy. If I were to order it again, I would ask for less sauce. I have had poke from this restaurant before and I find it to be a bit more expensive than other places. I was also surprised by the 4% service fee when I paid at the register.
I've gone 3 different times and they closed their doors early. The rest of the time they've made me wait or the staff argues about who has to deal with me and take my order. I would go to the other locations if you can.
