I just stopped by for the first time in 27 years and the food is still just as delicious! It’s nice to see that they have taken great care of the place while keeping its original things like the bar that give is such character. View all feedback.

What User doesn't like about Cappy's Northside Tavern:
The server didn't seem to care about us at all. Even after we pulled a hair out of the marinara right in front of her! Burntttt bacon on my bacon cheeseburger (which was dryer than my sense of humor). Had to have another server get our bill at the end. Sad story. View all feedback.

The food was once really good until the previous owners retired and sold the restaurant. Once new management took over, they changed a number of menu items and...

One of our favorite spots to get good old down home cooking. Black and Bleu Steak is a fave with grilled vegetables and a salad. Nothing fancy. Just good.
